This proposed amendment only addresses a portion of the Kailua Village <br />42 <br />Redevelopment TOD. <br />43 <br />Highlights of the proposed amendments <br />44 <br /> <br /> <br />Kailua Core (between the following 4 roads: Ali‘i Drive *ocean*, Palani Road, <br />45 <br />Hualalai Street and Kuakini Highway plus 300 feet) basically the resort zoned parcels. <br />46 <br /> <br /> <br />Utilizing the VDG as a parcel specific level, with zero setbacks and reduced parking. <br />47 <br /> <br /> <br />Experimental project to entice other landowners to be included <br />48 <br /> <br /> <br />Optional Planned Unit Development type of application on a parcel by parcel basis <br />49 <br />processed typically within 60 days <br />50 <br /> <br /> <br />Maximum height of 75 feet (this is already an allowance of the PUD application as <br />51 <br />well as trying to address the existing hotels heights) <br />52 <br />Concerns/issues discussed <br />53 <br /> <br /> <br />Maximum height allowance too high.
