The proposed use <br />will provide a service to the community and provide the applicant with <br />employment. In addition to providing a service to community, the applicant <br />will be adding to the economic strength to HPP. <br />D. Surrounding zoning and land uses. <br />Surrounding zoning is Agriculture-1. The state land use is agriculture and the <br />general land use is rural. There are four homes that exist neor the proposed acre <br />One hone per each acre and there are four empty lots within the 500 feet <br />radius. Effects from the proposed use will be inconspicuous. (See attached <br />letters to the owners of the lots and homes within a 500 mile radius). <br />E. Flood insurance Pate Map (FIRM) designation (contact Department of Public <br />li <br />Forks- Engineering Division). <br />This area is not a flood zone prone area according to the Engineering Division at <br />Public Works. <br />F. Archeological resources (chosen #21 " ;no effect' letter from the State DLlP <br />Historic Preservation Division) <br />This property has been developed and occupied for more than 20 years and <br />there are no archeological findings. (See attached letter) <br />G. Floral and faunal resources <br />This property is surrounded by Ohia trees and greeds. The floral that exist <br />contain numerous trees, assorted citrus, and banana that this applicant planted <br />H. Valued cultural resources: Identify any traditional or customary native <br />Hawaiian rights that are exercised in the area; fhe e tenf in which the proposed <br />development will affect these rights; and feasible action to be taken to protect <br />native Hawaiian rights if they exist. <br />There is no evidence of any Native Hawaiian activity on the proposed parcel. <br />1. It <br />is situated too for from the ocean and very far from any mountainous areas. <br />
