Coordinated Services for the Elderly <br />Coran Kitaoka, EAD Operations Assistant Director, (808) 323-4320 <br />Tim Hansen, East Hawai`i (808) 961-8777, Fran Takamiyashiro, West Hawai`i (808) 323-4320 <br /> <br />Mahalo and Aloha Mary Chun Mary Chun has worked for the County of <br />Hawai‘i for 36 years taking care of all the Kupuna where ever she goes. <br /> <br />During her 36 years with the Elderly Activities Division, she has worked for <br />the Retired Senior & Volunteer Program, Hawai‘i County Nutrition Program, assisted <br />with Elderly Recreation Services, and for the last 9 years has worked for <br />Coordinated Services for the Elderly providing compassionate care to the <br />Pāpa‘aloa Kupuna. <br /> <br />Mary is always with a smile and kind words for everyone she meets. She <br />assists all Kupuna with warmth and care. <br /> <br />Mary you will be missed…...…. Much Mahalo and Aloha from the staff at CSE <br />as you begin your new adventures. <br /> <br /> <br />Welcome Aboard Diane Kai <br /> <br />Diane Kai is Kona CSE’s new chore supervisor. She started working for CSE <br />on November 16, 2012. Diane was born and raised in Hilo. She previously <br />worked at Alu Like as a specialist in career development and guidance. In <br />college, she majored in Psychology. <br /> <br />Diane has worked in Hilo and Ka‘ū, but felt drawn to Kona because of her <br />maternal heritage. <br /> <br />In her spare time, Diane loves gardening, swimming, and sewing. <br /> <br />In the past, Diane has cared for her elderly relatives and looks forward to <br />working with the Kupuna in Kona.
