If we do not say yes, we are not part of the solution; we are part of the problem. We are behaving <br />without awareness and at risk of acting like self-servicing comfort addicts merely acting as the blind <br />leading the blind, like a moth into the light. <br /> <br />Any leaders who do not support intensive and potentially time consuming environmental studies and <br />permitting processes are acting as unaware leaders that are not following your oath to lead and protect <br />the community. When dealing with a form of energy that is so potentially powerful by its very nature <br />of involving fragile geological processes and highly explosive gases and chemical runoff, any investor <br />or protector should be willing to go to any expense to protect reckless unaware devastation to the earth <br />and the ohana. <br /> <br />Until we have a deep awareness of our own awareness stress response and can easily describe all the <br />benefits and risks involved in comfort and discomfort, we are an unaware leader or developer that <br />needs to immediately -. <br /> <br />KERN: Mr. Blackwell, sorry, -. <br /> <br />BLACKWELL: Educate themselves -. <br /> <br />KERN: That three, three minutes is up.
