The pool is awesome. A pool heater would be nice for the winter. Skate park was a plus and it could even get better. Not enough for our children. We need more and better parks. We need more after school activities for our youth. And the public facilities need to be more safe for our kids. The park could be way more better then how it is everything is to packed together they should make playground equipment for the little kids. I do not feel safe in most parks. I do notice that trash can be a problem in these areas. We need more parks and activities for our youth after school. Where are the signs to the Parks, The parks are nice. Some more park /rec areas for the keiki is always a good idea especially if combined with after - school programs. The new park could fill a need if it is maintained, well lit and has good clean restrooms and picnic facilities. Very difficult to find out the hours for the pool and other facilities. Parks need better sanitary facilities, pest prevention little fire ants, coqui movements, mosquito establishment & dressing rooms no need for leaf blowers= obnoxious noise gas consumption maybe caretakers since stupid vandals abound. Public pool is awesome; skate park is good too! If the pool were heated, more people would use it. The pool and the skate park are off the hook! Especially for a town of this size. Truly awesome.
