Also this makes it completely unsuitable for workers commuting to Hilo to work and is probably why the park and ride lot by Makuu is rarely used. The bus needs an Express run during commute hours and IT SHOULD GO TO THE HILO AIRPORT. Pahoa needs more Hele On services with shuttles down to Pohoiki for the school kids after school so they can go surfing. There needs to be more frequent buses here with a main station in Pahoa that serves outlying areas (Ainaloa, H.P.P., Hawaiian Beaches, Red Road) in and out of Pahoa Town. direct routes from Kapoho, Pohiki to Pahoa would be good need feeder buses from subdivisions so it doesn't take so long from Nanawale for instance into Hilo like to see shuttle service for Hele On in Leilani Estates - those who are seniors - no car Public Transportation Page 4
