HELE ON is ok, but the infrequency makes it impracticle for regular use for work or school. Also,
only folks who can walk up to 5 miles each way from inside the subdivisions, can make use of it
at all.
Bus being on time would be great. Also, a designated stop at the top of Kahaki Blvd would be
helpful for passengers who board in Pahoa and want to skip the long ride through Hawaiian
Beaches.
Need busses to run more frequently on major routes. Otherwise, I find many
What do you think of the Public Transportation?
It's not as good as some places, but much better than many.
Thankfully they have accommodated the people without vehicles and cut down on traffic and
gas issues, like the bikes on buses
The public transportation is great.
It is cheap, that's good, but it is way to cold but it's way too cold I've always heard the cold is a
form of population control, it sucks, and it doesnt go late enough to Kalapana.
great SVC & $1.00 is a deal for Big Island Transportation
the bus is great
Public Transportation Page 7
