it's great that it's free, but i think with a nominal fare, they could afford to expand the service. <br />Go from free to .75 or $1.00, not from free to 3 or 4 dollars which Puna folks cannot afford. <br />People on DHS could ride free by showing their EBT cards. <br />Hele on rules! This is an amazing service to the community. <br />Better when Free! <br />SOMETIMES YOU JUST DON'T HAVE A $1 AND THEY (BUSES) ARE COLD IN THE RAIN, AND LATE. <br />The limited and lengthy rides are discouraging and should be covered by tax money. <br />Hele -On drivers to be skilled, pleasant, and helpful... KUDOS to them! <br />What do you think of the quality of public transportation personnel? <br />It would be nice if the drivers were nicer <br />need laws and rules for handicap /disabled patron use; need drivers who don't damage elderly <br />and disabled passengers <br />drivers do not stop for passengers at bus stops in and around Pahoa town, and decide to cancel <br />routes at whim (to Pahoa, originating in Hilo); both behaviors cause potential riders to hitchhike <br />or wait for HOURS for a bus. <br />I do not use the bus very often and when I did I found it alright and everyone has to admitt the <br />price was right. Some of the drivers in the past were something to be desired.
