parking gets difficult in evening /night. no fun being a single woman & parking in back corner of Luquins
lot.
Roads are fine as long as there are no crazy drivers driving through. Parking is alright and if it wasn't for
Louquins Mexican Cantina parking would be horrible.
Again, there are some very scary intersections. Especially around Malama Market and Woodland Center.
Parking is O.K, but the main parking lot at Luquins is in poor shape
dangerous intersections at Malama market & KFC - scary!
Add stop lights in malama area to avoid accidents.
We need more pedistrian walkways and safe areas for the skate boarders and youth to walk in town.
Parking is almost non - existent in Pahoa Town. If you can find a spot it is most likely dangerous to leave
your car unattended, especially at night. I would love to come to Pahoa at night and walk around, shop,
eat at restaurants, ect, but it is just too dark and scary. The people that are out on the streets are up to
no good and make it very unpleasant to be around there. They are drinking, urinating on the sidewalks,
and intimidating. The same people are on the streets ever day, all day long crossing the street (not in a
crosswalk) back and forth all day. It is very dangerous to drive through Pahoa Town because of that. I
have been at Luquin's at night and see cars flying through town. Set up speed traps and enforce the
law!
has character but sometimes dangerous - not enuf room for opposing direction vehicles
Driving through Pahoa always feels a little dangerous to me .... people walk into road as there are not
adequate walkways. It would be good to have turn lanes so traffic can keep moving through rather than
risking driving around cars waiting to turn. This causes dangerous conditions.
ingress & egress at Malama is scary
parking needs to be safer and more accessable
Accident waiting to happen, very little safe parking. Hard to get out of your car without almost getting
run over.
Town needs more safe parking areas
Again, danger for pedestrians, bikes. Need more parking for vibrant weekend nights, events, market
days..
Roads and parking within Pahoa town
Page 7
