More people would visit the businesses, along with better parking, either street or more parking lots that were easily accessible. Keaau - Pahoa Hwy Need a 4 lane Highway between Keaau & Pahao. * need roundabouts at orchidland & Longs Drug Need to be 4 lane from Kea'au to at least Ainaloa or Maku'u Dangerous intersections, no emergency routes. Need exit other than Hwy to Hilo if volcano covers Leilani to hwy area need at least one more route in and out in case of emergency MG 5/10 NCA) Need alternate route.Hwy congested during morning rush and evening. This should be done in conjunction to infrastructure of the "New" Pahoa need street lights and two lanes each direction I have been on the BI for over 30 years and STILL, only one road in and out of Pahoa ... sad but we need 2 -3 lanes in BOTH directions to serve this area and the commuters properly and safely.
