We need stop lights put in at the Hawaiian beaches and malama market intersections. <br />intersections at Malama Market are poorly planned <br />Malama area, Woodland Center, and proposed B. Kurohara will totally impact traffic. <br />We all know that the intersection at the Highway and Turning toward Malama market is always <br />a little sketchy.... Seems like there is an accident there regularly. <br />the intersection at Long's Drugs needs to be totally reevaluated <br />Traffic light and high school area <br />We need a sidewalk all the way down Govt. Rd. Very dangerous? We also need a stop light at <br />the Malama Mkt. and divider turn lanes leaving the high school and at the red light <br />The entire area needs a double lane highway. Please hire a competent traffic engineer to work <br />on all the intersections. The one by Pahoa High needs a right turn only lane heading makai <br />across 130. <br />The stop light by the high school is very dangerous. It needs to be re -timed so that the traffic <br />does not get so backed up. <br />Non - motorized traffic <br />We need a sidewalk all the way down Govt. Rd. Very dangerous? We also need a stop light at <br />the Malama Mkt. and divider turn lanes leaving the high school and at the red light <br />More pedestrian and non motorized vehicle -bikes etc. Pathways with a greenbelt around them. <br />sidewalks, pedestrians Xing.But its the flavor of the (OLD PAHOA TOWN) <br />since it was repaved its smooth but there is NO SAFE place for bike or foot traffic <br />Roads in and out of Pahoa Page 8 <br />
