Pahoa has a nice new transfer station. The transfer stations used to be open every day and now with closures people just leave trash anyway and it is an eyesore. Very good transfer station. Most people want to dump the rubbish first, then look at the re- store. However, with the road coming in the way it does, we have to drive around again. Could be worse. Need to end idea of "waste" and reduce, reuse everything. There is no trash service, so people have to take their own trash to the dump. That's a inconvenience if u don't own a truck or if u don't own a care at all!
