Many closeknit communities are an asset to living here. Networking and sharing is happening on a more <br />vibrant level, and this should be encouraged. There should be more space for and easier to meet as <br />groups within the community. The Museum is doing a wonderful service by opening its space to various <br />art and cultural groups, but is limited. A vibrant community -built center that is open to all can become <br />the dynamic life of the village where there is an ongoing community art studio, fitness classes, free <br />school, and cultural events. It could be the apex of many spokes going out to Puna neighborhoods that <br />have local community centers. <br />Need more community— <br />need more (NOTE both "FAIR" & "GOOD were checked, "Fair" enter online.) <br />i haven't seen much happening in pahoa. <br />None, nonexistant unless you have children who play sports. <br />not much. <br />This town is still seeking an identity. <br />it feels like its dying and is going under and no one can hear it screaming <br />very little going on like community watch, farmers markets, community gardens, etc. at neighborhood <br />level, limited or nonexistent facilities for neighborhoods to use. "blink and you miss it" nature of Pahoa, <br />violent nature of Pahoa town, <br />Need more community— divisions within community and discussion of negative elements <br />Generally good sense of community among those of the communal philosophy, However strong <br />divisions among the Have's & Have -nots. Need to abolish pursuit of dollars. <br />coming from mna ( ?), coming into Pahoa often feel looked down on /unwelcome @ stores <br />
