• The swimming pool for family fun.
• Like the new recycle facility, like the new police and fire station,
like the community center and swimming pool.
• The plentiful and good restaurants. The Sunday market is good and
fun.
• Attempts made to refurbish old buildings -the farmer's market -new
paved roads, real restaurants -post office people, and medical clinic
personnel.
• The best thing about Pahoa is community.
• Small and everything is accessible.
• Pahoa is an unusual place where people of all types, even if they
don't get along, at least have tolerance.
• Good restaurants. The town where everyone falls in love again.
• The museum, a wonderful sanctuary where a broken ass poor person
can meet progressive minds can come together through music.
• Much better since all improvements.
• New fire and police facility great. Our local food merchants great.
Pool is great. Look at Hawi, a good model. The new pump facility is
great.
• Diverse people. Concerts at Akebono, community activities,
parades. Grocery store is closer. We are unique -flaws and all!
• The people and restaurants.
• The walking atmosphere feels safe and fun.
• Love the open spaces, small businesses and people.
• I love that this is where I live and want to raise a family! I also like
that I don't have to go to Hilo very often.
• Pool. Need solar for hot showers and pool heat. Old style town.
• I feel that my fellow Punatics are more like family than friends and
neighbors. Most people have a good sense of aloha. We need to
teach all these mainlanders how to go easy.
• The diversity of people. The Natch' new parking lot!
• Diversity, all the young families and their children. People who live
and work in Puna and Pahoa area.
• I like the local businesses like Puna Style, Islands Naturals, Luquins,
2 Thai restaurants, Jungle love. I support all local business Pahoa
Feed & Fertilizer. Skate Park & Pahoa Pool.
• Nice town. Public pool. Ohana feeling. The cats at 7 -11.
110
