Keaau has sidewalks so does Hilo, why not Pahoa? <br />There is no community park, bathroom or center for children to play. The Community Center is not a <br />welcome venu. Our town would benefit by creating a beautiful community center with open <br />community garden, playground, resource center for classes & education. Farmer's market location <br />not in parking lot. <br />Street parking <br />The public School need inprovement. Pahoa Hi School <br />Not having a stoplight at the entrance from the Highway to the Shopping center. <br />no sidewalks <br />Roads and Sidewalks <br />Too much Business Development not enough Sustainability projects. <br />Major intersections <br />Drug selling on streets <br />Sidewalks are needed. Doubling as bike lanes <br />unrestrained development and lack of employment opportunities <br />the traffic and the obvious drug areas The congestion around the banks The filth of some sidewalks <br />and buildings. (it is not quaint!) <br />More parking Less money on sanitation govment departments more community access to <br />Health(mental) Dental <br />It takes Forever to get anything Done. such as the OLD Fire station is still Being Renovated For the new <br />senior center,. It was supposed to bBe Done a year or so ago. <br />Bike lanes, paths, and covered lock up areas are greatly needed <br />Would be graeat to habitate the unoccupieed buildings. <br />Traffic <br />Roads, Parks, Recreation <br />Less Autoritarian Infringment <br />Walk ways <br />more gardening -park to walk and bicycle path <br />not enough solidity <br />prking off the main drag & crosswalks(more) <br />LAX LAW ENFOREMENT OF THE THUGS HANGING AROUND DOWNTOWN (ON THE BANK STEPS), IN <br />FRONT OF OYHER BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENTS. ONLY1 HEALTH FOOD STORE, NO COMPETITION, <br />THEREFORE CAN CHARGE HIGHER RATES. <br />Places like McDonalds encroaching on the quaintness of our town.People don't want to come here to <br />see that. <br />Storefronts really need upgrading and more public parking. <br />Sidewalks and maybe a stop light is needed to prevent accidents. <br />More sidewalks and /or bikepaths are needed. Traffic patterns could be improved. Roundabouts or at <br />
