‰ ‰ <br /> <br /> <br />Proposed Kawaihae Harbor Task Force <br />Kawaihae subcommittee requests that the Action Committee vote to <br />Kawaihae Harbor Task Force being created. The subcommittee would work with <br />hopeful participants such as Senator Malama Solomon, Representative Cindy <br />EvansthenextCountyCouncilrepforthisdistrict, , DLNR/DOBAR, ACE, <br />EvansthenextCountyCouncilrepforthisdistrictDLNR/DOBARACE <br />USA, DOT/Harbors and Highway, National Park, DHHL, Department <br />Water Supply, Kohala Watershed Partnership, County Civil Defense, County <br />Environmental Management, County Department of Public Works, Qu <br />Emma, Planning, Ala Kahakai, Makalii, Kanu o ka' Aina, State Historic Office <br />of Preservation, Community, KLRC, Harbor users, or whomever it is determined <br />is an appropriate participant. The area of focus would range fr <br />Gulch on the north, to Spencer Beach Park on the south and propo <br />road on mauka side. The goal would be to increase collaboration between the <br />various agencies in order to come together and work toward one ultimate <br />Kawaihae Harbor area improvement plan with the understanding that when we <br />work together and not against each other, everyone benefits.
