7-3 Time Limit for Filing Appeal. <br /> An appeal from the decision of the Director shall be filed within thirty days after the decision. <br /> 7-4 General Petition; Form and Contents. <br /> The form of a general petition for an appeal shall conform to Part 2 of these rules and shall <br /> include the following: <br /> (1) The name, address, and telephone number of the appellant and the name,title, <br /> and address of the appellant's representative. <br /> (2) A description of the property involved in the appeal, including the tax map key <br /> number of the property, and the appellant's interest in the property. <br /> (3) A plain statement of the nature of the appeal and the relief requested. <br /> (4) A statement explaining <br /> (A) How the decision appealed from violates the law; or <br /> (B) How the decision appealed from is clearly erroneous; or <br /> (C) How the decision appealed from was arbitrary or capricious, or <br /> characterized by an abuse of discretion or clearly unwarranted exercise of <br /> discretion. <br /> (5) A clear and concise statement of any other relevant facts. <br /> 7-5 Filing. <br /> An original and ten copies of the petition shall be filed with the Commission. <br /> 7-6 Fees. <br /> A petition for an appeal shall be accompanied by a filing fee of fifty dollars payable to the <br /> County Director of Finance. The Commission shall waive this fee on any petition submitted <br /> by a county department or agency. <br /> 7-7 Service of Petition. <br /> A copy of the petition for appeal shall be served by the appellant upon: <br /> (1) The Director in an appeal from the Director's decision. <br /> (2) All owners of the affected property, as reflected in County Real Property Tax Division <br /> records, in all appeals of decisions made under the Refuse and Sewer chapters of the <br /> Code, if the owners are not the appellants. <br /> 7-8 Parties to an Appeal. <br /> 7-22 <br />
