Pursuant to Rule 2 -7 of the County of Hawai' i Environmental Management Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure, any person seeking to intervene as a party to a contested case hearing on Agenda Item No. 5 above is required to file a written request which must be received in the office of the Department of Environmental Management no later than ten (10) calendar days prior to the Environmental Management Commission's first public meeting on the matter. Such written request shall be in conformity with Rule 2 -7, in a form as provided by the Department of Environmental Management entitled "Petition for Standing in a Contested Case Hearing." The written petition /request shall be filed with the Environmental Management Commission at 2100 Kanoelehua Avenue, C -5, Hilo, Hawai' i 96720. Any party may retain counsel if that person so desires.
