relating to Definitions: Amends Article 2, Division 7, Section 25-2-71 relating to Plan Approval <br />applicability. Amends Section 25-2-75 relating to Plan Approval application requirements for <br />agricultural tourism. Amends Section 25-2-76 relating to Action on Plan Approval application. <br />Amends Article 4, Division 1, Section 25-4-15 relating to Use Regulations for agricultural tourism. <br /> <br />The Commission took up this item at 10:10 a.m. with approximately ten people from the public in <br />attendance. <br /> <br />(SEE EXHIBIT B) <br /> <br />Ms. Lani Bowman, the former commissioner whom the Director had mentioned earlier, was in the <br />audience. The Director presented her with the Mayor’s Certificate of Appreciation and a lei. <br /> <br />MINUTES – The Commission took up the following minutes at 11:43 a.m.: <br /> <br />February 21, 2013 – It was moved by Commissioner Hickcox and seconded by Commissioner <br />Iokepa that the minutes be approved as submitted. Motion was unanimously carried by a voice vote <br />of all Commissioners in attendance. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS – The Commission took up the following administrative matters <br />at 11:44 a.m.: <br /> <br /> <br />1.Status of applications heard by Leeward Planning Commission that are pending before County <br />Council – Mr. Arai informed the Commission with regard to RS10 Kalaoa LLC (AMEND REZ <br />854) that the County Council had approved their time extension request. <br /> <br />The Director informed the Commission that she had just attended an Ocean Resources Management <br />Plan meeting and a statewide planning directors’ meeting the day before on O‘ahu, where she <br />learned that the state Office of Planning, along with the Land Use Commission, would be <br />considering amending the Land Use Classification boundaries throughout the state, though it was <br />not clear when. She further said that the Planning Department would be advocating at that point <br />that the County General Plan and the Community Development Plans be reviewed to determine <br />whether their boundaries should be adjusted to bring them into conformance with the change. <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS – Mr. Arai announced that the next meeting was scheduled for June 20, <br />2013, with tentatively two items on the agenda. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT – There being no further business, at 11:47 a.m., it was moved by Commissioner <br />Whittemore and seconded by Commissioner Hickcox that the meeting be adjourned.
