7) Unfinished Business <br /> • Selection of New Director of Human Resources <br /> • Acceptance of the Report of the Permitted Interactive <br /> Group regarding the Selection of New Director of Human <br /> Resources. <br /> • Executive Session <br /> The Merit Appeals Board anticipates convening an executive <br /> meeting regarding the above matter, pursuant to <br /> Section 92-5(a)(4), for the purpose of consulting with the Board's <br /> attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the Board's <br /> powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities, and <br /> Section 92-5(a)(2) to consider the hire of a County officer where <br /> consideration of matters affecting privacy will be involved. A <br /> 2/3 vote pursuant to Hawai`i Revised Statutes, Section 92-4 is <br /> necessary to hold an executive meeting. <br /> 8) Director's Report <br /> 9) Schedule Next Meeting Date <br /> 10) Adjournment <br /> The meeting place is accessible to persons with disabilities. If you need <br /> an auxiliary aid or service, language interpretation, or other access <br /> accommodation, please contact Glynis Yamada at 961-8361 as soon as <br /> possible or at least five days prior to the meeting of August 21, 2013. <br /> If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawaii County Clerk <br /> within five days of becoming a lobbyist [Article 15, Section 2-91.3(b), <br /> Hawai`i County Code]. A lobbyist means "any individual engaged for pay <br /> or other consideration who spends more than five hours in any month or <br /> $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to influence <br /> legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to <br /> communicate with public officials."
