Merit Appeals Board Page 2 September 18, 2013 <br /> Executive Session: The Merit Appeals Board anticipates <br /> convening an executive meeting regarding the above matter, <br /> pursuant to Section 92-5(a)(4), for the purpose of consulting with <br /> the Board's attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the <br /> Board's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities, and <br /> Section 92-5(a)(2) to consider the hire of a County officer where <br /> consideration of matters affecting privacy will be involved. A 2/3 <br /> vote pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes, Section 92-4 is <br /> necessary to hold an executive meeting. <br /> • Communication No. 13-02, received on August 1, 2013, from <br /> Jay Ishibashi, HGEA MCEC Agent, on behalf of <br /> Stanley Nakasone, appealing his involuntary transfer to <br /> another position within the Department of Public Works. <br /> Deferred: August 21, 2013 <br /> 8) Director's Report <br /> 9) Schedule Next Meeting Date <br /> 10) Adjournment <br /> The meeting place is accessible to persons with disabilities.
