<br />Mr. Arai made a reference to the Commission’s action to continue the hearing of the third item <br />th <br />today, and said that even though the August 15 meeting was cancelled, it was his understanding <br />that the Commission should be able to meet the deadline for its decision by agendizing the <br />th <br />continued hearing for the following September 26 meeting, but that he would look up the <br />requirement to make certain. <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS – Mr. Arai announced that Ms. Barbara Nobriga’s nomination to the <br />Commission was being forwarded to the County Council, with full support from the Council’s <br />Planning Committee. He also informed the Commissioners that he would email them details about <br />thth <br />the Hawai‘i Congress of Planning Officials conference scheduled for September 18 through 20. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT – There being no further business, at 1:52 p.m., it was moved by Commissioner <br />Hickcox and seconded by Commissioner Whittemore that the meeting be adjourned.
