When County, State and private businesses were <br />closed for Hurricane Flossie, the clinic stayed open so that help would be available during the expected <br />emergency. <br />Project Budget: <br />A/C Tasks Completed to date: <br />• State Land Identified <br />• PCMC has received donations from Nanawale CA ($1,000) and Hawaiian Beaches CA ($1,293) to <br />support the Building Fund for its proposed Emergency Room <br />A/C Next Action Item: <br />• Write letters of support for continued funding and for grants <br />• Testify on Med Center behalf at Planning Commission and County Council hearings <br />• Support application to DLNR for long term lease on a 5 -ac property in Pahoa <br />• Support expansion of health services and building expansion <br />• OCT 2013 - 3 fundraising concerts planned island -wide - internationally acclaimed jazz <br />guitarist Andrea Razzauti and backup musicians. <br />12) Designate Connecting Roadways in Puna Subdivisions (PCDP 4.3.3 [3,4, & 5]) <br />A/C Champion: Subcommittee formed (Dan, Patti, Farris, Sharon) <br />Chair: Marlene Hapai <br />
