Veterans Advisory Committee <br />Page 12 <br />October 17, 2013 <br /> <br /> <br />YUKIO OKUTSU STATE VETERANS HOME <br />Juan Babiak, Liaison for the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home announced that their <br />Administrator retired and the new administrator is Kerry D. Pitcher. She has 30 years of <br />experience, is very energetic and they are very fortunate to have her. They are making <br />improvements at the facility. She is a former resident and was looking to move back <br />home to Hilo. <br /> <br />HONOR GUARD – EAST HAWAI`I <br />Member Minoru Hanato announced that Gino is starting an honor guard group in <br />Hilo. They will be doing the honor guard for the program on Veterans Day in Hilo at the <br />Vietnam Memorial at 9am. That will be their first honor guard performance.
