Hawai‘i County Fire Commission <br />Meeting Agenda <br />January 8, 2014 <br />Page 3 <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS/UPDATES <br /> Budget and Finance (Committee Chair Taniguchi) <br /> Office Management and Staffing (Committee Chair Taniguchi) <br /> Rules and Policies (Committee Chair Lee) <br /> Public Relations (Committee Chair Moku) <br /> Training and Education (Committee Chair Namahoe) <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Selection of Chair and Vice Chair of the Fire Commission for 2014. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />The commission will meet in executive session to consult with Corporation Counsel on <br />questions and issues pertaining to the commission's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, <br />and liabilities; to consider sensitive matters relating to public safety; and to conduct an <br />annual evaluation of the Fire Chief pursuant to HRS 92-5 (a) (2) (4) (6) and the Hawai‘i <br />County Charter Section 13-20 (b). <br />Annual performance evaluation of Fire Chief Darren Rosario including a review of <br />the status of his 2013 goals and objectives, his self-evaluation, and his 2014 goals <br />and objectives. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />The next monthly meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at 10:00 <br />a.m. in the Aupuni Center Conference Room, 101 Pauahi St., Hilo, Hawai‘i. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />NOTICE: <br /> This meeting place is accessible for persons with disabilities.
