paddles, flotation belts, masks, snorkels and fins shall be permitted <br />during lap swim only. <br />4. Diving into the shallow water areas of any swimming pool is pro- <br />hibited except as approved by the Director or the Director's duly <br />designated representative. <br />5. Protective tank boots will be required for any SCUBA tanks while <br />they are being used in the swimming pool. <br />6. Protective rubberized weights will be used for weight belts. <br />7. Children not toilet trained must use swimsuit or swim diapers that <br />will trap solids from leaking into the pool. Naked babies or children <br />are not allowed in the pool, keiki pool or on the pool deck. <br />8. Appropriate attire shall be worn in the pool. Sarongs, jeans, thongs, <br />tee shirts and undergarments and "street clothes" are not <br />appropriate attire. <br />9. Persons needing to use a chair lift should first seek instruction from <br />a pool lifeguard. <br />C. Rules for Children's (Keiki) Wading Pool: <br />1. All children in the keiki pool must be with a responsible parent or <br />adult who watches the child 100% all the time <br />2. Only children six (6) years of age and younger are allowed in the <br />keiki pool. <br />3. No running, diving, or jumping into the keiki pool. No spitting, <br />spouting or harmful splashing of water in the keiki pool. <br />4. No flotation devices, such as, but not limited to balls, kick boards, <br />water wings (arm floats), body boards, floating toys, etc., allowed in <br />the keiki pool. <br />5. No masks (glass lens), fins, or snorkels in keiki pool. <br />6. Other established pool rules for the regular pool will apply to the <br />keiki pool. <br />D. Rules Relating Specifically to the Pool Deck: <br />1. Patrons shall not be allowed on the deck or in the pool basin until <br />11 <br />
