through Friday, consideration will be given to use by the greatest <br />number of persons. Applications shall not be accepted nor shall <br />pool use be scheduled when the pool is closed for maintenance. <br />4. Applications must be received by pool management two (2) weeks <br />in advance of the first day of use and shall be confirmed only after <br />the signing of the Facility Use Permit/Rental Agreement and the <br />receipt of the fees as prescribed. The Director shall consider all <br />applications not so submitted or received as tentative and subject <br />to withdrawal or cancellation. Applicants who submit applications <br />less than two (2) weeks prior to the first day of use must submit all <br />fees in cash. <br />5. Applications for reservations for any team practice sessions, or <br />other events covering a period of several days, weeks, or months, <br />may be submitted on one application form, but must be <br />accompanied by a schedule of such events and payment in full <br />must be received before the first event. <br />6. Events other than aquatic activities shall require a special use <br />written agreement setting forth the terms and conditions regarding <br />the special use permit. <br />7. A security deposit shall be collected for one leased day and shall <br />remain in effect as long as no damages deplete the security <br />deposit. If the security deposit is diminished, the reservation or <br />permit is cancelled until the security deposit is replenished to the <br />original amount. <br />8. When applying for a pool permit, every lessee shall provide to the <br />Department of Parks and Recreation a complete listing of all <br />vendors authorized by the lessee to sell goods, products, or <br />services. A concession fee shall be charged all lessees that allow <br />an outside vendor to operate at the facility's designated concession <br />area. The lessee shall not receive a credit or other discount due to <br />no-shows or vendors who don't participate in the lessee's event. <br />9. All lessees of Department facilities are responsible for ensuring <br />their use complies with the current Americans with Disabilities Act. <br />C. Rules Affecting the Responsibilities of the Lessee of any County <br />Swimming Pool Complex: <br />The lessee shall be required to sign a written Facility Use <br />Permit/Rental Agreement covering the length of time the lessee has <br />full use of the swimming pool complex.
