To date this project has not been <br /> included in any county bond authorization legislation. <br /> January 2013: Parks and Recreation Director, Clayton Honma wrote a letter of support for the <br /> feasibility study of the Pohoiki Swimming area. <br /> January 2013: An attempt by Sen. Russell Ruderman to include $250,000.00 in the state's FY <br /> 2013-14 CIP budget for a feasibility study, conceptual master plan and preliminary <br /> engineering failed. <br /> July 2013: Resolution 133-13 expressing support of a swimming area passed unanimously by <br /> the Council. <br /> January 2014: Council Member Ilagan offered $40,000 from his FY 2013-14 contingency fund for <br /> the feasibility study.
