This—whose, the, if we’re on the roadway, the development on the Kaūmana <br />Drive. <br /> <br />STROUD: Yes. <br /> <br />ONO: Is that a State or County’s project or is that your personal project? <br /> <br />STROUD: The work that’s being done on the roadway, we’re doing that as part of the <br />improvement so— <br /> <br />ONO: --So it’s the company-- <br /> <br />STROUD: Yes. <br /> <br />ONO: Okay. Well, I guess I have a concern because I live in that area. At night, I don’t know if <br />this is a personal request, but anyway, coming up at night, coming up Kaūmana— <br /> <br />STROUD: Yes. <br /> <br />ONO: The barriers—you’re supposed to have those flashing lights. They don’t work, so that as <br />I’m coming up, if I’m not careful, I’ll be hitting one of those plastic barriers because the lights <br />don’t function that well. <br /> <br />STROUD: Our general contractor is here, and is hearing that as well, and I will discuss that— <br /> <br />ONO: --with that I’m asking, is that a responsibility of this County, the State, or— <br /> <br />STROUD: --it would be that the--the roadway improvement contractor is actually doing the <br />work. <br /> <br />ONO: Thank you. <br /> <br />STROUD: And I believe there are standard stuff for that traffic control setup as well, and that <br />they should be complying with those and if we’re not, then we need to make sure they are. <br /> <br />ONO: I just, I don’t want to carry this any further, it’s just that those lights are not—it’s dim, so <br />as you drive, it would be— <br /> <br />STROUD: I understand. <br /> <br />ONO: Thank you. <br /> <br />KANUHA: Mr. Chairman, I think Commissioner Ishibashi asked for Public Works yeah, to be <br />up here? <br /> <br />GONZALES: You ready for that?
