We <br />continue to expand and improve our activities for the <br />seniors in our community and encourage all of you to <br />come out and participate in our program. <br /> <br />Call our offices at: Hilo 961-8710, Kea‘au 966-5801 <br />and Kona 323-4330 for more information about our <br />programs, or visit us online at www.hawaiicounty.gov. <br /> <br />Big Island Senior Stars Talent Show <br />This year’s Big Island Senior Talent Show was an <br />overwhelming success. Over 300 seniors attended the <br />event at the Old Airport Pavilion on April 11 to support <br />the island wide program. 12 of the 19 senior clubs in <br />attendance brought their talent to the stage to share <br />with the audience including first timers to the show, <br />Nā‘ālehu and Pāhala senior clubs. Each participant had <br />their chance to shine with a wide variety of talents <br />showcased including tap dancing, singing, comedic <br />skits and veil dancing.
