If anybody get any question, you know, contact me…whatever you guys wanna <br />do, lemme know. <br /> <br />3) APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The Chairperson entertained a Motion to approve the Minutes of the April 22, 2014, Water Board meeting. <br /> <br />ACTION: Mr. Greenwell moved to approve; seconded by Mr. Robinson; and carried unanimously by <br />voice vote. <br /> <br />4) APPROVAL OF ADDENDUM AND/OR SUPPLEMENTAL AGENDA <br /> <br />ACTION: Mr. Robinson moved to accept Supplemental Agenda Item 6(A), WATER TREATMENT <br />PROPOSAL NO. 2014-04, FURNISHING AND DELIVERING POLYMERS TO WAIMEA WATER <br />TREATMENT PLANT; seconded by Mr. Arikawa, and carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />5) HĀMĀKUA: <br /> <br />DRINKING WATER STATE REVOLVING FUND RESOLUTION NO. 2014-02: <br />A. <br /> <br />(Note: Resolution requires roll call vote) <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2014-02 is for the project for which DWS has submitted a loan application, under the <br />Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF). One of the prerequisites for the loan is a Resolution <br />approved by the Water Board. This Resolution is specifically identified for the following project: JOB <br />NO. 2011-971, KAPULENA WELL DEVELOPMENT – PHASE 2, and authorizes the Manager–Chief <br />Engineer or Deputy to execute loans and/or grants with the State Department of Health for up to <br />$2,664,824.00. <br /> <br />The Manager-Chief Engineer recommended that the Water Board adopt DRINKING WATER STATE <br />REVOLVING FUND RESOLUTION NO. 2014-02, subject to the approval of Corporation Counsel. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mr. Greenwell moved to approve; seconded by Mr. Arikawa. <br /> <br />The Manager-Chief Engineer said that this Resolution is required by the Department of Health (DOH) <br />Safe Drinking Water division; DWS applied for a DWSRF loan for this project. This Resolution moves <br />the loan process forward, he said. <br /> <br />ACTION: The Secretary took a roll call vote: Ms. Lee Loy (Aye); Mr. Uyeda (Aye); <br />Mr. Robinson (Aye); Chairperson Kaneshiro (Aye); Mr. Greenwell (Aye); Mr. Arikawa (Aye); <br />Mr. Takamine (Aye).
