Salary Commission Page 2 July 10, 2014 <br /> The meeting places are accessible to individuals with disabilities. If you need <br /> an auxiliary aid or service, language interpretation, or other access <br /> accommodation, please contact the Department of Human Resources at <br /> 961-8361 as soon as possible or at least five days prior to the meeting date of <br /> July 10, 2014. <br /> Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Hawai`i Revised Statutes (hereinafter <br /> "HRS") §92-3.5, the Salary Commission will be conducting this meeting via <br /> videoconference. If audio stream between Kona and Hilo is lost for more than a <br /> short period of time, the meeting will be terminated. Commission Members will <br /> be present at the following locations: <br /> • Kona Council Office, West Hawaii Civic Center, <br /> 74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway, Building A <br /> (Pursuant to HRS, Sections 92-3.5 and 92-7 Salary Commission Member <br /> George Handgis will be participating from the above location.) <br /> • County Council Room, Hawaii County Building, 25 Aupuni Street, First <br /> Floor, Room 1401 <br /> Public attendance via videoconference will be available at both of the above <br /> locations. <br /> If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawaii County Clerk within five <br /> days of becoming a lobbyist [Article 15, Section 2-91.3(b), Hawai`i County Code]. <br /> A lobbyist means "any individual engaged for pay or other consideration that <br /> spends more than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for <br /> the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action by <br /> communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials." [Article <br /> 15, Section 2-91.3 (a)(6), Hawai`i County Code] Registration forms and <br /> expenditure report documents are available at the Office of the County Clerk- <br /> Council, 25 Aupuni Street, Hilo, Hawaii 96720. <br />
