While none of the GO Budget requests from the AC were included, all but one of the CIP Budget items listed above were included in the Mayor's FY 2014-15 budget proposal submitted to the Council in February 2014. 1. Guidance and Advocacy The PCDP AC reviewed one application for change of zoning and one application for a special permit within the PCDP planning area and provided comments to the Planning Director and/or appropriate agency on the consistency of the project being proposed with the goals and objectives of the PCDP. Written comments and request to the Planning Director were submitted by the AC on the following: Change of Zone Applications • Souza Change of Zone (REZ 13-171) from Agricultural to Village Commercial and State Land Use Boundary Amendment (SLU 13-039) from Agricultural to Urban in Pahoa Town. Special Permit Applications • Hawai'i's Volcano Circus, Graham Ellis, Applications for Amendments to SPP 1122 Amendments to the Puna CDP • The AC approved and submitted a request for the Planning Director to introduce an interim amendment to the Puna CDP regarding geothermal power generation in Puna. The PCDP AC, State of Hawaii. County of Hawaii and other private or community groups have engaged in a variety of projects either consistent with the goals and objectives of the PCDP or specific Actions called for in the plan. At the time of this report, the PCDP Action Matrix was being updated to reflect the status all PCDP Action items. This Action Matrix will be accessible via the PCDP website, http://www.hawaiicountycdp.info/puna-cdp. The attached table lists those PCDP Action items that are currently being actively implemented and identifies significant accomplishments and milestones achieved during the reporting period.
