<br />KONA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br />ACTION COMMITTEE: COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />AGENDA 08/27/14 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />c.Motion made by George (Keoki) Schattauer and seconded by Curtis Tyler to ask <br />the Planning Department to assist in creating an open space network plan assisting <br />the action committee. <br /> <br />d.Motion made by Douglas Payne and seconded by Curtis Tyler that the planning <br />department look at the industrial designation on the general plan and amend the <br />boundary to be consistent with the Kona CDPs TOD designation. <br /> <br />2.Discussion regarding Chair Greg Ogins concern that the Kona CDPs not allowing <br />rezoning to any industrial zone designation within the Kona urban area. <br />SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Action Committee will review the sub-committee reports, <br />recommended motions and discussion items to place on the next meeting agenda for action. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />b.Economic Development Report <br /> <br />c.TOD Activities Report <br /> <br />d.Land Use, Environmental & Cultural Resources Report <br /> <br />1.Open Space Network Report <br /> <br />2. The <br />Committee would appreciate timely submittal to the Planning Department at least one week prior to the <br />hearing date to allow for mailing and thorough Committee review. <br />If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawaii County Clerk within five days of becoming a <br />lobbyist {Article 15, Section 2-91.3 (b), Hawaii County Code}.
