Curtis Tyler also stated <br />44 <br />that this follows the intent of the KCDP and supports the concept. Janice also commented that <br />45 <br />the County work with the Land Owner so that the agreement will insure that the Community <br />46 <br />gets all that was promised. Brenda Ford has questions about the road alignment for the <br />47 <br />proposed Lako Street. Cory said the new alignment is to place Lako Street north of the existing <br />48 <br />flood plain. Curtis Tyler supports the northerly location. Cory said the plan is to build Lako <br />49 <br />Street with sidewalks and a 12” water line as requested by the Water Department. Brenda Ford <br />50 <br />wants Lako Street to be connected mauka asap. Brenda also recommends two entrances from <br />51 <br />the project. Hiram continued discussion about concurrency requirements as to the interpretation <br />52 <br />of the CDP. Janice thought that focusing on this area makes a lot of sense. Brenda asked that <br />53 <br />Cory confirm the State Land Use of the property which Cory said was Urban. Karen Eoff stated <br />54 <br />that this is how we interpret it so we can move forward. Greg stated that the CDP is not clear <br />55 <br />and needs further clarification thought additional study and research. Concurrency <br />70 <br /> Presentation by Hiram Rivera with the following discussion on concurrency: <br />71 <br />Priority roads such as was discussed with Cory and Lako Street. <br />· <br />72 <br />Need to come to an understanding first before any action can occur. <br />· <br />73 <br />Additional sub-committee meetings will occur. <br />· <br />74 <br /> Ken Melrose added that concurrency is dependant upon financing. Financing is a key in being <br />75 <br /> able to make the improvements necessary for all the concurrency items.
