Communication No. 2014-68—AC-Tiffany Kai Hub and Spoke Letter: The PCDP will <br /> consider the draft letter submitted by the MTSC regarding the implementation of a hub and <br /> spoke mass transit system. (10 min) <br /> 5. Communication No. 2014-70 Budget Subcommittee: Members from the Budget <br /> Subcommittee will report on their progress in prioritizing existing CIP and identifying new <br /> items that should be recommended by the AC for inclusion in the FY 2015-16 CIP and General <br /> Operating budgets. (20 min) <br /> 6. Mt. View Subcommittee: Patti Pinto will give a brief overview on the activities of the Mt. <br /> View Village Center Subcommittee. (10 min) <br /> 7. Communication No. 2014-71 Volcano Long Range Plan: The PCDP AC will consider the <br /> draft letter submitted by Sharon on behalf of the VLRP Subcommittee transmitting the Volcano <br /> Long Range Plan to the Planning Director. (10 min) <br /> 8. Town Meeting Subcommittee: Members of the Town Meeting Subcommittee will report on <br /> their efforts to gather information from the different Community Associations regarding <br /> Village Center locations and the possible relocation of Pahoa businesses. (10 min) <br /> 9. Pahoa Regional Town Center Plan: The AC will discuss the status of the Pahoa Regional <br /> Town Center Plan project, including options and recommendations to the Planning Director for <br /> moving forward. (10 min) <br /> 10. Impact of the Lava: The PCDP AC will discuss the impacts that the lava flow is having on <br /> the Puna Community and the potential short term and long-range effect it may have on <br /> implementing the PCDP. (15 min) <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS: <br /> 1. Communication No. 2014-63 -Draft Grubbing and Grading Bill Proposed by Malama O <br /> Puna: The AC will consider a draft bill presented by Rene, proposing stiff fines and penalties <br /> for land owners and heavy equipment operators who violate the existing grubbing and grading <br /> laws. (20 min) <br /> AGENDA FOR NEXT MEETING: Agenda item suggestions from the AC for the November 18, <br /> 2014 meeting. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> NOTE: Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service,other reasonable modification,or language interpretation to access this meeting <br /> please contact the Planning Department at 961-8288 as soon as possible,but no later than five working days prior to the meeting date,to <br /> arrange for accommodations.
