These lots are now open space and public purchase. They <br />65 are trying to get Kamehameha Schools involved to purchase <br />66 some of the properties due to the importance of the two <br />67 heiaus. <br /> <br />68 Halelua – 3 lots for sale. Current property they are interested <br /> <br />69 in is along the coast, but not up for sale yet. <br /> <br />70 Kauhola Lighthouse – no updates <br /> <br /> <br />71 Halaula Mill Road, Ainakea Makai, Pahoa Beach, and Upolu <br /> <br />72 Airport – 4 updates from the county at the last meeting, but <br />73 they have not had time to review them. <br /> <br />74 Restoration at Upolu Airport – it is going well, and the middle <br /> <br />75 school has put up 4 out of 12 informational signs. <br /> <br />76 Kohala Ali’i Kai non-profit applied for the stewardship funds. It <br /> <br />77 will be used for archaeology, preservation, use of surveys, <br />78 education, wildfire mitigation, and signage for the cultural <br />79 sites. <br /> <br />80 Kohala Shoreline LLC – Greg Mooers, consultant, will attend a <br /> <br />81 meeting later this month, and will also meet with Hawaiian <br />82 Homes.
