2. Application No. 14-18 (10:00 A.M.) Pleasant Travel Service, dba Lynn’s Sundries @ Royal Kona Resort, for an original Retail General liquor license, located at the Royal Kona Resort, 75-5852 Ali‘i Drive, Kailua-Kona, Hawai‘i, TMK: 7-5-009:012. 3. Application No. 14-19 (10:00 A.M.) Gilligans Restaurant LLC, dba Gilligan’s Café, for an original Dispenser Beer and Wine liquor license, Category C1, located at 94-1581 Kaulua Circle, Nā‘ālehu, Hawai‘i, TMK: 9-4-001:019. VII. Unfinished Business VIII. New Business 1. KonaSurf Partners LLC, dba Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay (10:00 A.M.) Pursuant to Rule 1-16 of the Rules and Regulations of the Liquor Commission of the Department of Liquor Control of the County of Hawai‘i, State of Hawai‘i, submits e-mail dated October 7, 2014, received October 7, 2014, to temporarily amend conditions placed on its Hotel liquor license located at 78-128 ‘Ehukai Street, Kailua-Kona, Hawai‘i, on December 31, 2014, January 1, 2015. The following are the conditions imposed by the Liquor Commission at its meeting held on June 3, 2004: 1) Any amplification devices for speech and music shall be prohibited after 10:00 P.M. for outdoor activities at the north end, or the Keauhou Bay end of the site where alcoholic beverages are served. On August 5, 2010 the Liquor Commission imposed the following additional conditions: 1) That the hotel shall continue to notify the Department of Liquor Control about its special events. 2) The sound levels to be maintained by the Hotel on a consistent basis shall not exceed 55 decibel rating at the property line of the hotel. 3) If a status report is required, it shall be at the discretion of the Department. The following are the proposed amendments requested by the Licensee: 1) Request permission for Kona Surf Partners LLC, dba Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay to extend its hours of outdoor live entertainment to end at 1:30 A.M. on January 1, 2015, as part of its New Year’s Eve celebration to be held on December 31, 2014, January 1, 2015. 2. The Three Fat Pigs, Inc., dba The Three Fat Pigs , submits Application for Increase in Licensed Premises to include the former Merriman’s Mediterranean Café, located at The Kings’ Shops, 250 Waikoloa Beach Drive, Space J106, Waikoloa, Hawai‘i, TMK: 6-9-008:005. 2
