CALL TO ORDER <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Hazel Beck at 10:20 a.m. <br /> <br />II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> The agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The minutes of August 21, 2014 of the Committee on the Status of Women is amended to <br />note the following correction: <br /> <br />Correction of spelling to the word ‘chair’ after Hazel Beck. <br /> <br /> Minutes were accepted as corrected. <br /> <br />V. TREASURER’S REPORT <br />The only expense incurred in August was $541.66 for radio spots. Elena reminded the <br />committee to include the following tag or something similar at the end of radio ads: “This <br />message was brought to you by the Hawai‘i County Committee on the Status of Women.” <br /> <br />The Function Report and the Accounting Codes Report differ due to $800 in projected <br />income from the essay contest. <br /> - 1 - <br /> <br />
