CSE would like to take <br />this opportunity to thank Patricia for all of her <br />hard work and wish her well as she embarks <br />on another chapter in her life. Her appointment officially began on <br />November 3, 2014. Prior to CSE, Loriann <br />worked in the Parks and Recreation Administration <br />office at the Aupuni Center. We are <br />happy to have her as part of our team. <br />Please stop by and say hello while in our <br />South Hilo office. <br /> <br />LORRIE AKINA, HONOKA‘A’S <br />COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAM ASSISTANT <br />Please welcome Lorrie Akina, Honoka‘a’s <br />new Community Service Program Assistant. <br />Lorrie started working for Coordinated <br />Services for the Elderly in June. <br />Lorrie was born and raised in Paauhau and is <br />the oldest of two children. She graduated <br />from St. Joseph’s and Hawai‘i Community <br />College with an associates degree in nursing <br />and is a Licensed Practical Nurse. Lorrie <br />worked for 14 years at Hui Malama Ola Na <br />Oiwi in the Community Outreach program. <br />She is also certified as a cancer patient <br />navigator via Imi Hale. <br />Lorrie is a mother of two daughters, and <br />grandmother of one. She is also a caregiver <br />to her parents. She loves spending time with <br />her family, going to the movies; Lorrie also <br />loves to bake, garden, and sew and she loves <br />football (the Tennessee Titans is her team). <br />Lorrie’s philosophy in life: “Treat people the <br />way you want to be treated; always give to <br />others...be honest and trustworthy”. <br />Lorrie’s CSE office is located at the Hale <br />Hau‘oli Senior Center in Honoka‘a.
