ARAI: Could I, when the Director was explaining his position, he made a distinction that it was <br />more of a qualification than a reservation. So I just wanted to make sure how, if it’s not that big of <br />a difference, maybe -. <br /> <br />BEAUDET: Would you restate that to say, “with qualifications?” Or we need to identify that, if <br />we made the word change? <br /> <br />ARAI: If the motion is based on the Director’s recommendations, then it will probably be with the <br />clarification that it’s a qualification. So the commissioner’s motion and the <br />intent is to basically go with the Director’s recommendations and the qualifications that is contained <br />within his report to you, then I would state specifically as “with qualifications.” <br /> <br />HICKCOX: Mr. Chair? I know I have a motion. May I amend my motion prior to Commission <br />voting? I withdraw my, excuse me, withdraw my initial motion, and resubmit to you that the <br />Leeward Planning Commission send a favorable recommendation, with reservations dealing <br />specifically with qualifications, to the County Council regarding Bill No. 281 relating to Planned <br />Unit Development, P.U.D., permits. <br /> <br />WHITTEMORE: I second that.
