Tanigawa, <br />Vice Chair, called the meeting to order at 10:05 a.m. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF THE JULY 16, 2014 MEETING <br /> <br />W. Tanigawa <br /> called for a motion to accept the minutes of the July 16 meeting. <br />L. TobosaC. Cholas <br /> moved to accept the minutes. seconded. All were in <br />favor. None opposed. Motion passed. <br /> <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC (Agenda Items) <br />There were no statements from the public. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />None. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Presentation by Alan Rudo who is Housing and Community Development <br />Specialist with the Hawai‘i County Office of Housing and Community <br />DevelopmentAlan Rudo <br />. (Before started, introductions were made.) <br /> <br />Alan Rudo <br />with Office of Housing is in Community Development and does Fair <br />Housing issues as well as technical assistance. He spoke about the Con Plan <br />which is a five-year plan that outlines what the projects are, what the goals are, <br /> <br />
