However, there is a <br />51 proposed subdivision of a property next to the old Sunshine <br />52 Hardware, but that is the only update. <br />53 <br />54 b.Public Access: Report by Keone MacKillop <br /> <br />55 <br /> <br />56 Hapu’u Kapanaia – There is still an ongoing effort to get in <br /> <br />57 touch with Kamehameha schools to see if they are interested in <br />58 purchasing lots 8 and 9, due to the importance of this cultural <br />59 site including two heiaus. <br /> <br />60 Kauhola Lighthouse – There is currently an access road for the <br /> <br />61 subdivision being built there. <br /> <br />62 Ainakea Makai – There is a question regarding access. <br /> <br /> <br />63 Restoration at Upolu Airport – it is going well, and the middle <br /> <br />64 school has put up 6 out of 12 informational signs. <br /> <br />65 Kaiholena Lot F – This is basically finished, and they’ve <br /> <br />66 committed to putting the last $88,000 toward that. They presented the <br />th <br />86 intentions of Paniolo Power, and that they are currently in the <br />87 research and planning phase of potentially creating microgrids <br />88 for clean energy and power for the areas of Waimea and North <br />89 Kohala District. <br />90 <br /> <br /> <br />
