Since Mr. Nathan Myrhvold. has <br />25 purchased the property, he has conducted a number of environmental studies on it. <br />26 He now plans to develop the property into 3 acre lots and will be submitting a <br />27 rezoning request from residential 15,000 square foot lots to RA-3a. <br />28 To ensure everything is up to speed, Mr. Mooers explained that they are redoing a <br />29 number of studies that were completed in 2010-2011. He also brought up the fact <br />30 that there are some archaeological features on the property, all of which will be <br />31 preserved. Another issue involved in this project is that there are a number of trails <br />32 on the property as well, and they are being proactive by conducting a number <br />33 community outreach meetings to collect comments and recommendations regarding <br />34 the trails. <br />35 Mr. Mooers explained that in regards to timeline, they are hoping to have the <br />36 revised studies done within the next 60 days. During that time they would file a <br />37 draft environmental assessment, which would be about a 6-month process. At the <br />38 end of that time, there would be a request for change of zone. It is their hopes that <br />39 any technical questions (archaeology, traffic, etc.) about the project will be fleshed <br />40 out and addressed during the environmental process so that when everything is <br /> <br />
