Lani seconded that motion <br />97 and it was carried unanimously. <br />98 <br />99 V.SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />100 <br />101 a.Growth Management: Jon Adams reported that they had a meeting <br /> <br />102 one week prior, but there were no permits to discuss. <br />103 <br />104 b.Public Access: Report by Keone MacKillop <br /> <br />105 <br /> <br />106 Hapu’u Kapanaia – There are quite a few concerns here, <br /> <br />107 including squatters. The subcommittee is going to contact the <br />108 county and see what they can do in regard to tackling <br />109 trespassing and vandalism. <br /> <br />110 Halelua – There is still no update from the county. There was a <br /> <br />111 list made out and it was sent to the Planning Director, but it <br />112 could be some time before they hear back on that. <br /> <br />113 Kauhola Lighthouse – No updates. <br /> <br /> <br />114 Halaula Mill Road – No update (this item is on the list that was <br /> <br />115 sent to the Planning Director). <br /> <br />116 Pahoa Beach – The County has responded and reiterated <br /> <br />117 where the access path is. It seems that one of the landowners is <br />118 playing loose with it. Toni Withington is going to make an <br />119 inspection there and follow up with the county and possibly <br />120 have to make a complaint. <br /> <br />121 Upolu Airport – No update (this item is on the list that was sent <br /> <br />122 to the Planning Director). <br /> <br />123 Restoration at Upolu Airport – No updates, a tree has been <br /> <br />124 planted. <br /> <br />125 Kaiholena Lot F – There was a site visit where they did an in <br /> <br />126 depth historical tour which was very successful with 40 people <br />127 in attendance. <br /> <br />128 Latitude 20 – No updates. <br /> <br /> <br />129 Kohala Shoreline – This is still ongoing, and they are in the <br /> <br />130 middle of getting their permits.
