ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS - <br />The Commission took up the following at 11:15 a.m. <br /> <br /> <br />1.Status of applications heard by Windward Planning Commission that are pending before <br />County Council. <br /> <br />Mr. Arai stated that there was no update at this time. <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> – At 11:15 a.m., Mr. Arai stated that the Commission’s next meeting on <br />July 2, 2015, tentatively had three items on the agenda. <br /> <br />Mr. Arai also announced that the Leeward Planning Commission at its last meeting discussed <br />continuing education for Planning Commissioners. He requested that the Commissioners email <br />him should they have specific topics in mind that they would like to see as part of this training <br />(i.e. Comprehensive General Plan Amendment, permitting requirements for various uses, <br />environmental reviews, etc.). <br /> <br />Mr. Kanuha and Mr. Arai congratulated Mr. Patel on the birth of his son. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />– There being no further business, Madam Chair Moses adjourned the <br />meeting at 11:18 a.m. <br /> <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Sarah Y.
