Van Bergen <br />Deputy Director <br />Richardson Roughwater Swim Set for July 26 <br />The Department of Parks and Recreation announces the 28th <br />Annual Richardson Roughwater Swim will be held Sunday, July <br />26, at Richardson Ocean Park in the Keaukaha area of Hilo. <br />This 1 -mile -long race course is designed for strong, experienced <br />swimmers. Competitors may experience ocean swells, powerful <br />currents and waves breaking over the outside reef. <br />Register by Friday, July 17, and receive the discounted rate of <br />$15 per person. A late -entry fee of $25 per swimmer will apply <br />after that deadline. <br />Entry forms are available at all County of Hawaii swimming pools <br />and the Department's Recreation Office located within Aunty Sally <br />Kaleohano's Luau Hale at 799 Pi`ilani Street in Hilo. <br />For more information, please call 961-8694 from 8 a.m. until 4 <br />p.m. weekdays. <br />-30- <br />County of Hawaii is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer. <br />
