<br />137 first is Pratt Road. They’ve sent out letters to landowners on Pratt Road <br />138 to get feedback from them before they hold a community meeting. <br />139 They’ve received some responses and they will be holding a meeting <br />140 with them in August or October. <br />141 <br />142 She also reported that there will be a meeting with the public on June <br />143 18 from 5-7 in the Intergenerational Center concerning proposals for a <br />th <br />144 harbor at Mahukona. <br />145 <br />146 The subcommittee also met with Solar Matters regarding the solar <br />147 bikeway proposal. <br />148 <br />149 Lani Eugenio asked about Upolu Point where spring water used to flow <br />150 to the ocean, but now there is a house and a pond with a wall blocking off <br />151 the water from flowing into the ocean. <br />152 <br />153 Discussion continued about water rights and different types of water <br />154 flow. Lani explained that maybe this is something that they should look <br />155 into because it has an effect on the ocean and the ocean life. <br />156 <br />157 Jon Adams brought up that he went to a graduation at the Hisaoka gym <br />158 and explained that the roof is in terrible shape. Discussion continued, <br />159 and it was asked to have it put on the agenda that someone from the <br />160 County would come and give an update on the roof repair. <br />161 <br />162 d.Power, View Planes, and Erosion Control: Report from Susan Fischer <br /> <br />163 <br />164 Susan reported that subcommittee members met in Kona on May 14 <br />th <br />165 with PATH on the solar bikeway proposal, and in Hawi on June 4 with <br />th <br />166 community members on possible uses of the Hawi Park. At the Hawi <br />167 meeting, subcommittee members displayed rural infrastructure designs <br />168 proposed in previous plans for the center of Hawi. <br />169 <br />170 Faye brought up that this property doesn’t appear to be taken care of <br />171 since the county purchased it. Discussion continued between the Action <br />172 Committee about whose responsibility it is to take care of the property. <br />173 John Winter suggested that this be put on the next Parks, Water and <br />174 Roads Subcommittee agenda. <br />175 <br />176 <br />177 e.Affordable Housing: No updates, there is no chair.
