Van Bergen <br />Deputy Director <br />Public Invited to Blessing and Groundbreaking Ceremony for <br />New Park Development in Holualoa's Alii Kai Subdivision <br />Hawaii County Mayor Billy Kenoi, County Council Chairman Dru Mamo Kanuha, and <br />the Department of Parks and Recreation invite the public to a blessing and <br />groundbreaking ceremony for a new park to be built in Holualoa's Alii Kai Subdivision. It <br />will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 12, at the park site located at 76-6183 <br />Pakalana Road. <br />Join Mayor Kenoi, Council Chairman Kanuha and other dignitaries in commemorating <br />starting development of the 1.6 -acre neighborhood park. Refreshments and light pupu <br />will be served. <br />Kona-Ka`u Services and Supplies Inc. has been hired to build a children's playground, <br />accessible bathrooms and parking lot for the benefit and convenience of park patrons. <br />Additional work will include installation of lighting, fencing, a security gate, landscaping <br />and an irrigation system.
