Land use designation from Low Density Urban to Urban Expansion Area and <br />Important Agricultural Land to Urban Expansion Area. <br />Puna CDP Amendments <br />The AC approved amending the operating guidelines as adopted by the AC in 2009 to include <br />the PCDP mission statement as written, as 94 in the guidelines. "The mission of the PCDP is to <br />develop a sustainable, efficient, and organized plan that serves the diverse community of Puna, <br />and protects and nurtures the `aina." <br />Puna CDP Implementation Update <br />The PCDP AC, State of Hawaii, County of Hawaii and other private or community groups <br />have engaged in a variety of projects either consistent with the goals and objectives of the PCDP <br />or specific Actions called for in the plan.
